This movie is created based on a true story that happened in Antarctica. The story flows around a couple of people who are coming to Antarctica to find a rare meteorite from Mars and a sled dog team with 8 members. Since the weather condition is not good, these people decide to go with sled dogs for their safety.
This sled dog team is consisting of 8 dogs and the dog who is called Maya is the leader of the team. Others on the team are Old Jack, Shorty, Dewey, Truman, Shadow, Buck, and Max. Due to an unexpected accident, these people had to leave the dogs and this dog team had to survive on the ice for 5 months without any protection. The movie is flowing with their actions throughout their survival struggle.
